We are growing a UK network of trainers, consultants, mediators and legal practitioners working at the forefront of how technology is reshaping organisations, communities and the law.
Many excellent efforts already exist to address the impact of technology through education, regulation and platform accountability. AGENCY takes a different approach. Most adults engage with technology at work, using it for daily decisions and communications that reach into homes, communities and the wider economy. Reaching people through their employers is a practical and scalable route to building a society better equipped to navigate the digital age.
There is demand across the UK for credible expertise on advancing technology, AI, online harms, and the legal and human questions they raise. This is niche territory, and the structures most organisations rely on for workplace training and counsel have not yet caught up.
Experienced facilitators able to introduce and translate AI literacy, critical thinking, digital wellbeing, misinformation, compliance and cybersecurity for mixed audiences in workplace settings, from frontline teams to senior leadership. AGENCY training is always delivered in person and built around active learning, including scenario-based exercises and applied practice. We are looking for confidence, energy and demonstrable expertise in one or more of our core specialisms.
Advisors who help organisations work through AI adoption, governance, policy, behaviour and culture change, and the practical work of embedding new ways of operating. We approach this people-first, and are looking for advisors with real industry experience, structured thinking, and the credibility to advise at board level.
Practitioners experienced in workplace and community mediation, particularly those familiar with the impact of polarisation, online conflict, and the breakdown of working relationships. AGENCY mediation is grounded in the realities of the relationships at stake, both internally and between frontline workers and service users. AGENCY mediators bring practical, varied experience and an interest in exploring new approaches to urgent and emerging challenges.
Independently regulated solicitors, barristers and chartered legal executives based across the UK who advise on AI, data, online safety, copyright, automated decisions and the wider body of law forming around the impact of digital technology. Clients include smaller businesses, civil society organisations and in-house teams seeking specialist counsel on a defined matter, with AGENCY managing the commercial and administrative side. We are building a proactive, collaborative network, and seeking professionals open to sharing knowledge and experience, with an interest in taking on test cases and developing their practice at the forefront of the field.
Paralegals and legal secretaries seeking freelance work can submit their CV to join our legal support pool, which we draw on as engagements require.
Legal practitioners in the AGENCY network are independently authorised and regulated by the relevant body (Solicitors Regulation Authority, Bar Standards Board, or CILEx Regulation), and act under their own practising arrangements. AGENCY introduces clients and provides case management support. Each practitioner retains full professional responsibility for the legal advice they give.
The AGENCY network is built around shared knowledge, shared skills and a shared mission to help organisations and the people inside them navigate technological change with clarity. Practitioners come into the network as collaborators, contracted by AGENCY when work arises that fits their expertise. Many practitioners contribute across more than one specialism: a consultant able to facilitate training, a solicitor with a background in mediation, or a trainer able to advise on process and workflows. The network gets stronger as practitioners build relationships with each other and the work, and as the knowledge developed in one engagement informs the next.
AGENCY operates on a fee-share basis. Our share funds the network and our administrative and operational support.
Client introduction and scoping, contract management, invoicing, public liability insurance for the network's activity.
Training rooms and meeting coordination, paralegal support for legal matters, network facilitation.
Profile-raising and outreach, and a shared knowledge bank that grows with each engagement.
Practitioners in the network hold their own professional indemnity insurance appropriate to their work. AGENCY confirms this at the point of joining and during ongoing engagement.
AGENCY is independent. We are not aligned to any political position, vendor, platform or campaign. We expect everyone in our network to bring the same balance, engaging honestly with the opportunities and risks technology brings as it advances.
We work in plain English, in person where it makes a difference, and build trusted relationships with clients and each other. We invest in shared standards of quality, communication and conduct because the strength of the network depends on it.
We ask that you bring your full expertise, honour the commitments you make to clients and to one another, and engage as a collaborator rather than a contractor. The network gets stronger with each practitioner who joins it on those terms.
Tell us about your area of expertise and the work you want to do, and we will set up time for a call.
